TLP250 TLP250 is a high-speed optical coupler that is designed to drive high-power MOSFETs and IGBTs. It provides the electrical isolation needed for solid gate control. It is comprised of an GaAlAs infrared LED, which is optically linked to the high-speed photodetector. With an average outputting current at 1.5 A and an average time delay in propagation that is 1.5 milliseconds The TLP250 is ideal for inverters, motor drives and the power-switching applications. It operates in the 10V-30V supply range, and comes with a 5 kV of isolation voltage which ensures safety in high voltage environments.
